Open Events and Taster Days

What is Sixth Form like? How is it different to school? What are my options? What subjects should I study? How can I be a successful Sixth Form student? Where will studying at Sixth Form lead me?

If you’re considering Sixth Form options, there’s no better way to get to know Hollygirt than by seeing us in action and meeting our dedicated team.

We have a number of events happening throughout the year for students to get an experience of Sixth Form. The main Open Evenings are in October and March. In addition, we’re happy to arrange tours and taster days throughout the academic year to allow students to get a feel for life in our warm and welcoming Sixth Form, just simply get in touch with us.

You will receive all the information and guidance needed to feel confident in your choice of subjects and where to study. You will find a personalised approach here, that maps out the best route for you, rather than a busy, overwhelming open evening. We take the time to make sure the Year 12 and 13 study programme is right for you. Afterall, these are crucial years, which act as a real stepping stone to future careers.

Once you have accepted a place with us, you will benefit from a warm welcome and opportunities to feel part of the team.
