What is Sixth Form like? How is it different to school? What are my options? What subjects should I study? How can I be a successful Sixth Form student? Where will studying at Sixth Form lead me? 

If you’re considering Sixth Form options, there’s no better way to get to know Hollygirt than by seeing us in action and meeting our dedicated team. 

We have a number of events happening throughout the year for students to get a Sixth Form Experience. 

This provides you with all the information needed to feel confident in your choice of subjects and where to study. We know that the step up to Sixth Form can feel both exciting and daunting so we have designed a programme with this in mind. 

In addition, we’re happy to arrange tours and taster days throughout the academic year to allow students to get a feel for life in our warm and welcoming Sixth Form, just simply get in touch with us. 

Hollygirt Sixth Form Taster Day – Wednesday 18th October 2023

You are invited to the Hollygirt Sixth Form Taster Day to explore these questions and receive lots of information and guidance. During Year 11, students and their families need to make important decisions about which is the best post-16 provider for them and what subjects to study. Hollygirt Sixth Form is here to support you throughout this process and can map out the best route for you.  You will be invited to a further taster day in October to experience sixth form lessons so that informed decisions can be made. Year 11 is a busy time, so getting ahead by attending our June taster day is strongly advised. We look forward to welcoming you into our supportive community.
