Message from the Acting Head

As Acting Head at Hollygirt School, it is an honour to lead staff who are passionate about providing pupils with the best possible educational experiences.

Hollygirt School's ethos is all about building positive relationships whilst maintaining high expectations of each and every one of our pupils. We consider individual needs, and we are inspired to think of the best ways to help our amazing young people achieve their potential.

Hollygirt School aims to develop the whole child. We believe that academic progress and personal development are equally important to preparing children for life beyond school.

The staff and I look forward to welcoming you to our school.

About Our School

What makes Hollygirt special is the level of personal attention and care we are able to offer and the impact this has on both the child’s learning and holistic development.

Our staff to pupil ratio is high and each child is known by name by all adults working at the school; thus all feel valued. All our pupils are allowed to be themselves. All individuals, whatever their differences, are asked to follow our expectations: to work hard, to demonstrate kindness, show respect and courtesy, and learn to take responsibility for their actions.
