A curriculum with room to wonder
Our curriculum builds knowledge, curiosity and confidence from Year 6 through to GCSE. It is broad enough to open pupils’ minds to new ideas and possibilities, yet personal enough for teachers to respond to how each child learns, where their strengths lie and when they are ready for greater challenge.
Year 6: foundations and belonging
Year 6 provides a supportive bridge between primary and secondary education. Pupils strengthen their core knowledge, develop greater independence and become familiar with new subjects, teachers and ways of learning — all within a nurturing environment where they can quickly feel known, secure and part of the school community.
Years 7 to 9: breadth and discovery
During these important years, pupils explore a wide range of subjects and discover new interests, abilities and ambitions. They develop strong learning habits, build confidence in expressing their ideas and begin to recognise where their individual strengths could take them.
Years 10 and 11: choice and direction
At GCSE, pupils begin to make choices that reflect their interests and future goals. Clear expectations are balanced with personal guidance, purposeful feedback and support tailored to each learner. We help pupils achieve qualifications they can be proud of while preparing them to take their next step into sixth form, college, an apprenticeship or further training with confidence.

Across every subject, pupils learn to question, create, communicate, solve problems and reflect on their progress.
