I was immediately drawn to Hollygirt because of its small size, warm atmosphere, and genuine sense of community. It is a school where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to succeed, not only academically, but in their confidence, wellbeing, and happiness.

Having grown up in Nottingham, I know this city well and care deeply about its young people and communities. It is a privilege to return to Nottingham and lead such a wonderful school, one that has such a strong reputation for nurturing the whole child and helping every pupil to thrive.

With more than 20 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to helping children achieve their potential and develop a lifelong love of learning. I have a particular interest in social justice and believe that every child deserves to be understood, valued, and given the opportunity to succeed. This belief shapes my approach as a school leader and reinforces my commitment to doing what is right for each individual pupil, supporting them throughout their journey at Hollygirt and helping them to become confident, compassionate, and resilient young people.

From my first day, I felt the kindness and inclusivity that make Hollygirt so special. Our dedicated staff support each pupil as an individual, helping them discover their strengths and flourish in their own way.

I am immensely proud to be Head of this wonderful school and to lead a community that values compassion, individuality, and ambition. Hollygirt is a place where children grow, thrive, and truly belong.
