By Road:
Hollygirt School is best approached from Mansfield Road (A60) heading south towards the city centre.
From Mansfield Road heading south, *go up the hill with the Forest Recreation Ground and a cemetery on your right. At the top of the hill, there is St Andrew’s church on the left. At these traffic lights, turn left into Mapperley Road and take the first right into Cranmer Street. Go past the entrance to Villa Road on your right and then you will see some black railings on both sides of Cranmer Street. Walk through the gate in the black railings on the right into the pedestrian tree-lined Elm Avenue. Hollygirt Senior School and reception is the second building on the left.
NOTE - Elm Avenue is a pedestrian walkway.
From city centre, head north on Mansfield Road (A60). There is no right turn into Villa Road or Mapperley Road, so continue over the top of the hill, passing a cemetery on your left. Go down the hill to the roundabout and come back on yourself up Mansfield Road again, towards the city centre. Continue from * above.
